As Easter approaches and many of us look forward to time with loved ones, chocolate treats, and traditional Sunday dinners, the team here at QVAC has been embracing the spirit of the season in a different way.
With our roots firmly planted in Birmingham, we wanted to give something back to our local community — especially to those who won’t get the chance to enjoy the holiday in the way they deserve.
This week, we’ve had the pleasure of putting together Easter activity packs for the children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. While many kids will be at home hunting for eggs in their gardens, these young patients will be spending their Easter in hospital. We hope these little packs of fun bring a bit of adventure, colour, and cheer as they continue their journey to recovery — in the care of the incredible doctors and nurses who support them every day.
And speaking of the nurses — we couldn’t forget them. We’ve also delivered a hamper full of Easter eggs (Easter Bunny approved!) to say a big thank you for everything they do. While many of us are enjoying a break, these heroes are working tirelessly to care for others — and we hope a little chocolate energy boost helps along the way.
This isn’t about recognition. It’s about sharing kindness and hopefully inspiring others who are in a position to help. Even a small gesture can make a big difference to someone who isn’t able to enjoy the holiday like the rest of us.
